Fun

We could also call this one JOY. Our #1 business plan is literally to put more joy in the world.

We love to be edgy in our making process, we love to push the line a little, and we havecertainly gained a rep for saying what needs to be said.

BIG SCALE: We believe that more feminism, and less of the other ism’s (racism, sexism, classism, etc…), makes the world a better place. So when we make you a tea towel or a throw pillow that says “the Patriarchy isn’t going to smash itself…”, we mean that sh*t. And yes, that one is a directive.

SMALL SCALE: We know that you may get up in the morning and need to set your confidence level to Kanye West. We know that you might need a “Don’t be a dick,” throw pillow to keep some visitors in their place. And we know that if we can add some truth, laughter, and beauty into your home, then we’ve added some value to your life, and that’s what we’re here to do.

Every time you see your Lewd Linen and smile, we know we’ve done our job.

Self Expression

Not just our own self expression, but yours as well. Lewd Linens curates our line closely. We spend each year paying attention to what all of YOU are saying, we find the sentiments that are either going to lift you up, or light a fire under your *ss to get you going in your best direction.

We don’t want your house to be filled with all the livelaughloves made by slave children at W*#$mart. We write what YOU want to say, and we wrap it up in a big dose of good old fashioned sweetness, just like your grandma used to do.

Spontaneity

Here at Lewd Linens, we NEVER tire of watching someone view our products for the first time.

After a moment of confusion (am I in my grandma’s house? Is this some weird backroom at Death Row Records?)… they start reading everything out loud, and calling the people they think match each piece. (Sounds like: “OMG Janet, I found THE PERFECT PILLOW FOR YOU!!!…). And the whole time they are smiling. And that’s how we know we are doing our own best work.

HERE’S THE AWESOME THING: This will happen at your house too! Just leave your Lewd Linens out to cozy up your home wherever you like, and enjoy watching your houseguests get all confused…then startled… then happy— over and over again. And then enjoy watching the conversation flow. Our designs spark spontaneity wherever they go, and that is totally our jam!!!

About the Artist

Down in the Ozarks, Jesse Stone lives and loves with her young son Solace, two dogs, and two cats. Jesse is an artist, writer, and maker, and has lived her life deeply immersed in the wide variety of subcultures who also call these foot-hills home. Sharing these experience through art and writing is her life-long passion.

Solace Stone currently owning elementary school. He is learning to read, wiggling teeth, and always saying hilarious and insightful things to add to the family’s art without meaning to. Solace feeds the animals, creates his own art, and helps to color and fold your tea towels.
